I have finished my first week in Ibiza, pretty much anyway, it is the last day of the working week. This week, I have dived 3 times from the beach, twice in Cala Llonga and once in Port des Torrent (Sant Antonio). Cala Llonga is very nice, and I am jealous of Sabina and her working here.

The rest of my time has been spent doing sales in the pools. San Miguel, Portinatx, San An and Cala Llonga. I have sold 15 dsds this week. Not a bad first week. Especially for one as bad at sales as me.

Tuesday was Matts birthday, to celebrate, we had cigars.

Matt also managed to get an asbo...

Nick and Penny have two dogs, Monster and PADI, this is Monster. He is the bigger of the two, and is 4years. He is lovely and friendly. Not a replacement for George though.

That is all from me today, more tomorrow, hopefully with some new pictures.

Ibiza

Considering my distaste of public transport and the general public (no offense), I managed to cirumnavigate my way to Ibiza. 12 hours of travelling, including car, coach, underground, train, plane, bus and van allowed me to arrive at my new home for the next 3months.

it was a glorious arrival, after a crappy flight (i dislike planes). my welcoming committee were there and happy joyous greetings were made. It had been too long since i last saw the lady.

I have since arriving at 1am, wasted no time. i was up and in the van at 8.15am and starting work. i now am relaxing a bit whilst there is some quiet time. did sales and what not at the pools today. it was a nice day.

i will post some pictures and the like of the area and stuff soon. my camera is not with me at the moment. so i will get ut out and take some snazzy pics for you all to admire. and be jealous of.

thanks for reading.

peace and love

ps. the shift button isn't working on this computer, that is the reason for the lack of capital letters. i have to hit 'capslock' each time i want to do one. and yes, you might say it would have been quicker to do that, than write this explanation. but i am a quick typer, don't worry about it.

2 more sleeps!

Only two more sleeps till I leave for the Party Island! I cannot wait, soooo excited, even if I have to travel for 12 hours to get there, it will be worth it.

This is a picture from my last summer in Ibiza, a fried egg jelly. non stinger, looks cool though.

Bring on the Summer! yay

Family

I drove for 10hours in the last 30hours...or something. 1/3 of my time spent driving, Impressive no? I drove a friend to Gatwick airport yesterday morning, and since I am leaving the country for 3months on Sunday, I thought it'd be a good idea to visit my Sister and Niece in Exeter. I haven't seen them since February, She has grown very much (niece, not sister). She is 6months old now, and gorgeous. She was very fun, with lots of smiles. especially when she bounces, she loves to bounce.

I drove home this morning after spending the night down there. I was awake by 8am, though not sure if it was habit, or due to baby noises waking me. I normally wake up early, so I presume that was it.

Look how happy she is with me! She loves me.

On a different note, as I mentioned. I am leaving the country for the summer on Sunday. Flying off to Ibiza for a summer of sun, Scuba and relentless work. I look forward very much. I have been away from Sabi for too long now. It is time we were reunited with joy and smiles.

I am still short of some essential items I need before I leave, shorts (more), sunglasses, flip flops. Serious issues I am facing. Need sorting quick sharp me thinks.

over and out.

Man of Leisure....Engage

My week of 5 exams in 4 days has finished. As of now, I am a man of leisure. Until a week monday when I start work out in Ibiza.

The exams came, they went. If I learnt anything from this week, it is that next year I must be more organised. Revise earlier, prepare. As my old psychotic lesbian boss used to say...The 6 P's. Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.  Aint that the truth.

So, I think I did good this week, passed them all anyway. I hope, as I am not in the country during resit period. Never mind eh...

Right, I am going for a walk on a lovely beach (photos later) and then having a BBQ with friends, getting awfully drunk and smoking some lovely cigars.

Bring on the Summer!!!!

2 down!

Today I had 2 of my 5 exams. The first, "Principles of Biomonitoring" was fine...whilst I was answering the questions. Then came the moment I spoke to the lecturer about it afterwards. "I did this...."   "You did? why did you not draw a graph" "uhhh... exact answers are not provided with a graph".

Still, wait and see on that one.

Second exam "Coastal Conservation". Was much better, 1 hour long and threw in a few references, discussed New Jerseys methods of coastal management and also mozambiques, along with a couple of studies from Europe. I feel it went well.

Next up...Environmental Technology. I have 15 questions. 6 of them Might come up. 3 of the six have to be answered....Do I play the percentages and go for the risky minimal revision, or do I push on and learn it all?

It is sunny again today, I was sat next to the window in my exam...I was melting.

That is all.

The week of doom

This week started as most weeks do, on a monday. However, today was the first day of my 5exams in 4 days week. Luckily, the first 2 are tomorrow. So today was just a strengthen in the old revision sector. I am fairly confident so far, I feel I am well prepared for the first 3 exams. the last 2 I am yet to really think much about, but I figure I have a day on each to get ready. Plenty.

I read today on Janjans blog about a award of challenge to post the 8th picture from the 8th folder in 'my pictures' and explain the story behind it. So here goes...

There we have it,  not as interesting as you might have hoped. I was walking around the cliffs from Langland to Caswell (beaches) and spied a large container ship out on the water, I was trying to get it so the ship was within the moonlight, but couldn't get the angle without jumping off the cliff. So I settled for this delightful little thing.

So, like I say, I have 5 exams this week, finishing on friday then I have finished university for the summer and can start preparing for my summer on the party island...Ibiza! Not that I will be partying, just working, scuba diving and relaxing in the suns. Beautiful.

I probably won't be on for the rest of the week. Depends how bored of revising I get I suppose.

May the wind always be at your back, and the sun upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars
